Australian driver Costa Toparis will complete Rodin Carlin’s GB3 line-up for the 2023 season. The 15-year-old will make his full season European racing debut as he takes on the eight round championship which kicks off in April. Toparis lines-up alongside already confirmed team-mates Callum Voisin and John Bennett.
Toparis raced with the then Carlin team for the first time at the Abu Dhabi F4 Trophy late last year. Joining fellow-Rodin backed driver Louis Sharp, Toparis claimed a fourth-place finish in race one of the event which supported the 2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Following the move of car manufacturer Rodin Cars to majority shareholder of the now re-branded Rodin Carlin race team, Toparis will race in their familiar colours this season. In racing with Rodin Carlin on historic British tracks, Toparis follows in the footsteps of successful drivers as Daniel Ricciardo, Kevin Magnussen and Lando Norris, all of whom learnt their race craft on circuits such as Brands Hatch, Donington Park and Silverstone which feature in the GB3 Championship.
