Rogeon revved up for single-seater debut in GB3

30 January 2023

Frenchman Arthur Rogeon will make his car racing debut in the GB3 Championship this year with the Chris Dittmann Racing squad, and the 16-year-old cannot wait to get going.

Having competed in karting for several seasons, his first taste of single-seaters came towards the end of last year, and after sampling GB3 machinery with the team, immediately opted to join the series.

“I’m super excited to participate in the GB3 Championship which is a very challenging series” he enthused.

“I did five days of single-seaters with constant progression until I decided to switch to GB3.”

Rogeon’s experience of GB3 has so far come mainly at Silverstone, where he gelled instantly with the Gloucestershire-based Chris Dittmann Racing squad, to the point where he opted to sign a two year agreement.

“The team is very professional and welcoming,” he commented. “They want to help me as much as possible during this first year in order to obtain the best possible level by the end of the year.”

With minimal experience, he admits his first campaign will be about finding his feet and making constant progress.

“For this first year the expectations are to have fun and progress race after race!”
