25 April 2024

FIA F3 race winner Arvid Lindblad was the quickest driver in the third session of the day on the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.

The British-Swedish contender, who is gaining knowledge of the circuit with Fortec Motorsport, set a 1m52.904s to top the times, a couple of tenths clear of VRD Racing by Arden’s Shawn Rashid. Session two times however, remain the quickest of the day so far.

Just 0.010s behind Rashid was JHR’s John Bennett, who has been a figure in the top-three all day so far, with Lindblad’s fellow F3 race winner Martinius Stenshorne, competing this weekend with Chris Dittmann Racing, in fourth place and less than a tenth further back.

Rodin’s championship leader Louis Sharp was next up, just over half a tenth in arrears, and 0.002s clear of Hitech Pulse-Eight’s session once pace setter Tymek Kucharczyk.

Elite Motorsport’s Jarrod Waberski was next up in seventh, half a tenth clear of VRD Racing by Arden’s birthday boy Noah Ping, who was 0.054s further back.

JHR duo Josh Irfan and Patrick Heuzenroeder completed the session three top-10, which was the closest yet, with only 0.598s covering them.
