GB3 Championship reveals F1-focused 2025 calendar with Monza finale

22 August 2024

The GB3 Championship, partnered by the BRDC, has unveiled a superb eight-round, 24-race provisional calendar for the 2025 season, with six of the eight events set to take place at current Formula One venues, and a trip to Italian Grand Prix venue Monza included for the first time. The legendary high-speed circuit will be the final round on the schedule.

The new season will commence on 26/27 April at Silverstone alongside the British GT Championship, before heading to Zandvoort in the Netherlands on 17/18 May with SRO’s GT World Challenge Europe series.

GB3 then joins the Spa Euro Race schedule on 31 May/1 June, before a return visit to the Hungaroring on 5/6 July, supporting the International GT Open category.

The series heads back to Silverstone on 2/3 August with headline billing at a MotorSport Vision Racing (MSVR) meeting, before re-joining the prestigious British GT package at the Brands Hatch and Donington Park Grand Prix circuits on 23/24 August and 4/5 October.

Monza then makes its first appearance on the GB3 calendar, with the 2025 champion to be crowned at the iconic Italian venue on 18/19 October, during an event alongside International GT Open.

The 2025 season will be the first to feature the new Tatuus MSV GB3-025 car. This will elevate performance levels much closer to those in the FIA Formula 3 Championship thanks to a brand-new chassis, a revamped aerodynamic package featuring DRS, a more powerful engine and increased mechanical grip from wider tyres. The new machine will also meet the very latest FIA safety standards for this type of car.
