Sharp leads second Silverstone session

Rodin Motorsport’s Louis Sharp led the way in the second session of the day at Silverstone, with less than a second covering the top-17 runners.

Sharp’s best time of 1m53.596s was a couple of tenths away from Noah Ping’s session one best, but enough to put the New Zealander 0.061s ahead of Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Gerrard Xie in the session.

Elite Motorsport’s Jarrod Waberski was third quickest for the second session in succession, 0.023s clear of VRD Racing by Arden’s Ping, who ensured four different teams were represented inside the top-four.

Arthur Rogeon put his Rodin Motorsport car into fifth place, less than a tenth of a second ahead of VRD Racing by Arden’s Nikita Johnson, with the second Elite car of McKenzy Cresswell 0.019s further back.

Edward Pearson was the lead Fortec runner in eighth place, just over four tenths of a second away from top spot, and 0.015s ahead of Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Tymek Kucharczyk.

JHR Developments’ John Bennett completed the top-10, which was covered by less than half a second.

The third session of the day is due to commence at 16.05.
