Elite Motorsport’s McKenzy Cresswell set the fastest lap of the week so far in the first Friday GB3 session at Silverstone.
Cresswell’s effort of 1m53.274s came on his ninth of 11 laps, and put him over three tenths of a second clear of the field.
Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Gerrard Xie was Cresswell’s nearest contender, 0.302s away from the Elite Motorsport car and a tenth ahead of Rodin’s championship contender Louis Sharp.
Hugo Schwarze put the second Elite car fourth, 0.003s clear of Fortec’s Colin Queen with series returnee James Wharton sixth in the second Fortec machine.
Rodin’s Arthur Rogeon was seventh, 0.010s away from Wharton and 0.014s clear of Elite’s Jarrod Waberski, who led the times until the final couple of minutes.
Seb Murray was the lead Chris Dittmann Racing runner in ninth, 0.138s ahead of JHR’s Josh Irfan, who completed the top-10.
The final test session of the week is due to commence at 15.00 local time.
