Arthur Rogeon, Shawn Rashid and Tymek Kucharczyk were the top three finishers in the final race of the weekend at Silverstone. Here's how each driver reacted afterwards.
Winner, Arthur Rogeon, Rodin Motorsport: "It was a good race, and a good result for the team. A good race because race one and two were a bit harder for me. So really happy to get again the top spot on the podium. It’s a nice F1 track, really fast and I loved it."
Second, Shawn Rashid, VRD Racing by Arden: "My first podium in GB3, it’s been a long time coming. I know it’s a reverse grid, but still! There are so many ups and downs in this sport and sometimes you wonder when it’s going to work out. Like yesterday I DNFed and I was low and today is high. That’s how sport goes but I’m super happy. Big thanks to my team VRD by Arden. The car was wicked, super-fast all weekend. I couldn’t be happier."
Third, Tymek Kucharczyk, Elite Motorsport: "I think Hugo [Schwarze] went just a bit too wide on the exit of T11 or T12 and a slight mistake. I just took advantage of that. From my side a really good race, really happy to show finally some decent pace this weekend – we’d been struggling with the car quite a lot. The positions in qualifying didn’t really make it easy for the races. But happy to get on the podium and scored a decent amount of points for the championship which is the most important thing."
