The new GB3 Championship season starts this weekend (30 March/1 April) at Oulton Park, with an international grid of aspiring F1 hopefuls set to engage in battle.
Here’s how to follow all the drama in Cheshire this weekend, with live timing and streaming coverage.
Thursday 28 March
09.35-10.10 – Session one
12.05-12.40 – Session two
15.00-15.35 – Session three
Event preparations start with three 35-minute test sessions around one of the UK's most challenging circuits. All three sessions will be covered with live timing available via this link, as well as with regular social media updates.
Friday 29 March
09.35-10.05 – Session one
13.20-13.50 – Session two
Two further sessions, totalling an hour's track time will allow drivers to make final preparations ahead of qualifying and the first race of the season on Saturday. Live timing will again be available.
Saturday 30 March
11.10-11.30 – Qualifying
15.00-15.20 – Race one
The all-important first qualifying session of the year is due off at 11.10, and will form the grids for the first two races of the year. Fastest times will form the race one grid, and each driver's second quickest efforts will decide the grid order for race two. The first race of the season is due to start at 15.00, and will be streamed live and in full via the GB3 website, MSV TV YouTube channel, and the GB3 Facebook page. Live streaming will commence approximately 20 minutes before the scheduled race start time.
Monday 1 April
09.30-09.50 – Race two
13.45-14.10 – Race three
Races two and three of the season will take place on Easter Monday, with race two set to start at 9.30. This weekend will see the debut running of the revised race three format, with the fastest 12 qualifiers reversed on the starting grid, ahead of the remaining runners. Each race will again feature full live build up, starting 20 minutes before each scheduled start time.
