Louis Sharp earned his second Omologato One to Watch Award prize of the season at Donington Park, following his perfect performances in the opening two races of the event.
The British-born New Zealander claimed the maximum possible score of 70 points, courtesy of winning the first two races of the weekend, and in doing so claimed a prize timepiece from Omologato, the UK’s leading motorsport-orientated watch maker.
The award is presented at each event to the highest scoring driver across the first two races. Sharp also claimed the prize at the Hungaroring in June, with a score of 50.
Two other drivers have also earned the award in 2024, with John Bennett also claiming two courtesy of his performances at Oulton Park and Silverstone (July), while Tymek Kucharczyk has won the prize at Silverstone (April), Spa-Francorchamps and Zandvoort.
