Hitech Pulse-Eight's Tymek Kucharczyk posted the fastest lap of the week so far in the first Friday testing session at Donington Park.
The Pole recorded a 1m22.943s on his 18th of 20 tours to go just over a tenth faster than title rival Louis Sharp (Rodin), ith Max Taylor continuing his impressive start to life in GB3 with the third fastest time for Arden Motorsport, just 0.059s further back.
The second Hitech car of Will Macintyre was fourth, 0.018s clear of VRD Racing by Arden's Noah Ping, who brought the session to an early end with an excursion into the gravel at Coppice.
Thursday pace-setter Gerrard Xie put his Hitech car sixth ahead of Rodin debutant Freddie Slater, with Jarrod Waberski (Elite) and Shawn Rashid (VRD Racing by Arden) completing the session one top-10, which was covered by less than seven tenths of a second.
The second session of the day at Donington Park is due to commence at 13.05.
