GB3 contenders Patrick Heuzenroeder and Nikita Johnson both claimed wins during the final event of the 2025 Formula Regional Oceania Championship at Highlands Motorsport Park.
Heuzenroeder, who will race in GB3 this year with Xcel Motorsport, recorded his first slicks and wings victory in the first race of the event, having also claimed pole position in qualifying.
The Australian made a good start to lead the race, and withstood early pressure from newly-crowned champion Arvid Lindblad. But after the latter made a mistake on lap nine, Heuzenroeder broke clear to win by over six seconds.
Johnson then claimed the first victory of his 2025 campaign in a dramatic second race of the event, in which he steered clear of first corner drama and survived a safety car restart to take the flag a second clear.
GB3 podium finisher Shawn Rashid earned additional silverware with third place.
A successful campaign for both Johnson and Heuzenroeder resulted in third and fourth place finishes in the final championship standings respectively. Johnson stood on the podium six times during the 15-race series, while Heuzenroeder enjoyed four visits to the rostrum in total.
