JHR Developments has confirmed that Noah Lisle will be rejoining the team this year as he steps up to the GB3 Championship.
The 17-year-old from Perth, Western Australia, began his motorsport journey in karting before making the bold decision to relocate to the United Kingdom to compete in the 2022 F4 British Championship with JHR.
He quickly demonstrated his speed, securing a maiden podium at the third round of the season at Thruxton, followed by a Rookie Cup victory at Croft. By the end of the campaign, he had amassed almost a dozen top ten finishes.
Noah remained in British F4 the following season, claiming three wins and three further podiums. Last year, he stepped up to Eurocup-3, where he gained valuable experience with higher power and downforce, achieving three top five finishes.
Now, he embarks on a new challenge in the GB3 Championship, where JHR Developments won the 2023 Teams' title and has secured nine victories over the past three seasons, including a runner-up finish in the Drivers’ standings last year.
Lisle has already shown extremely promising pace in pre-season testing, and was fourth quickest on the final day at Donington Park yesterday, lapping just 0.088 seconds away from the fastest driver.
Noah Lisle said: “I'm very happy to be coming back to race with JHR Developments and excited to return to racing in Britain. The new car looks fantastic – it’s the most modern machine at this level, and when there’s a shiny new car on the grid, you want to be the one driving it. I can’t wait to really push and see what we can achieve this season.
"It was a big step when I first joined JHR, moving from Australia, but I’ve now proven myself as a driver and shown my versatility. I haven’t yet managed to put everything together to win a championship, but I have the experience, and I’m ready to maximise every opportunity with the team this year.”
JHR Developments Team Principal Steven Hunter said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Noah back to the team as he takes on this exciting new challenge in GB3. He’s a talented driver with great determination, and we’ve seen first-hand how much he has developed over the past couple of years.
"He’s already shown strong pace in our early running with the new car, and we’re confident that, together, we can achieve some fantastic results this season. It’s shaping up to be an incredibly competitive year, and we can’t wait to get started at Silverstone in April.”
