Pradel powers to top spot on second day of Silverstone GB3 test

25 March 2025

Rodin Motorsport’s Gianmarco Pradel was the driver to beat as testing concluded at the Silverstone Grand Prix circuit.

The Australian topped two of the day’s three sessions, but it was his final session effort of 1m52.009s that proved the day’s best, and over a quarter of a second clear of his nearest challenger.

Argenti with Prema’s Yuanpu Cui was second quickest, 0.268s away from Pradel and 0.007s ahead of the second Rodin car of Alex Ninovic.

Hitech’s Nikita Johnson went fourth quickest, having topped much of the final session. Each of the top four registered their best times in the final test.

Xcel Motorsport’s Patrick Heuzenroeder continued his strong pre-season form with the fifth fastest time, set in the second session, and 0.027s clear of the second Argenti with Prema car of Reza Seewooruthun.

Hitech’s Deagen Fairclough was next up in seventh, 0.028s further back and a couple of tenths ahead of the third Rodin machine of Abbi Pulling.

Will Macintyre (Elite) and Hugo Schwarze (VRD Racing) completed the top-10, which was covered by 0.964s.
