Chris Dittmann Racing has confirmed that it will run three cars for the remainder of the GB3 Championship season, after announcing American teenager Ayrton Ori in its expanded line-up.
Set to make his debut in the series at Silverstone this coming weekend (30/31 July), the Florida-based racer will join teammates McKenzy Cresswell and Branden Oxley, who secured the team’s best results of the year so far at Spa-Francorchamps last weekend, with a podium apiece.
Ayrton began his karting career at just five years of age and has experience in single-seaters and sports cars. Most recently, the 18-year-old competed in the 60th running of the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona in the LMP3 class, after putting the car on the front row in qualifying alongside team-mate Moritz Kranz. Other career highlights include podium finishes in the SCCE Majors Formula F Championship and the F1600 Championship series in 2019.
Joining the team and GB3 Championship at the midway point of the season will be no easy feat for the young racer, but with morale high after the successful Spa weekend and the deep knowledge and experience within Chris Dittmann Racing, there’s no better time for him to get behind the wheel.
