VRD Racing and Arden Motorsport will again combine their GB3 Championship efforts in the 2024 season under the rebranded VRD Racing by Arden title, and is set to field a three-car all-American line-up.
VRD, headed by Briton Dan Mitchell, has taken multiple titles in FIA-sanctioned F4 and Formula Regional Americas categories in the USA. Arden meanwhile, founded by Garry and Christian Horner, is a renowned European single-seater powerhouse courtesy of successful F3000, FIA F2, GP3, Formula Renault, Formula Regional and F4 campaigns in addition to GB3 over the past 25 years.
For 2024, the arrangement grows even stronger with VRD Racing by Arden set to feature an all-American three-car line-up as VRD Racing continues its international expansion.
"GB3 is a great championship, and one we've monitored for a while now. It sits perfectly between our other programmes, giving drivers the opportunity to graduate from British F4 into GB3, and then onwards to Formula Renault.
"The British GT package is a very appealing one for sponsors, with excellent live coverage, and it means our UK-based teams now run at the two largest national events, which helps drivers at this stage of their career when they're starting to build a name for themselves. It also offers opportunities for development for our in-house engineering staff as they scale the ladder, which is something else we're very proud of.
