Fortec Motorsport has confirmed that GB3 Championship podium-finisher Edward Pearson will return to the front-running outfit for the 2024 season.
The 16-year-old from Dorking had a good learning year in the series, having stepped up from British F4, including a third place in difficult conditions to open the season at Oulton Park.
Edward followed that up at the Donington Park season finale with a second place in the concluding race of the year. He also scored a good seventh at the challenging Spa-Francorchamps in June and finished in the top five on four other occasions.
In 2022 the youngster clinched a pair of fifth places in Formula 4 – on the tricky Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit – and was impressive in karting, as well as taking a maiden car racing podium in Ginetta Juniors in 2021.
